Virgin Mobile USA which has acquired Helio and has integrated their service with their own service during end of June 2008. Recently the organization has got confirmation from FCC to launch the Ocean 2 (another name OZ 2) during mid of this year 2009.
This sequel version of the famous Ocean mobile has lots of new features to storm the mobile world. The device has the same design as was in the previous design and supports numeric keyboards and QWERTY keyboard. The mobile supports EV-DO for 3G and stereo Bluetooth and built in GPS connectivity. So downloading and uploading any media files to any system is very easy from this mobile.
The QVGA display automatically adjusts the screen resolution to either Landscape or Potrait on rotation. Capturing still or videos are very easy with the 2 megapixel camera.
It has lots of softwares to make the life easy and smooth for any internet surfer because it comes loaded with a full HTML browser and a D-Pad optical mouse which can quickly navigate any hyperlink or menus or can scroll the content. Various Helio’s services like Helio’s signature services, Buddy Beacon and HelioUp are pre-loaded. The device also supports mail clients for Microsoft Exchange server and POP3 server. The memory size can be expanded to 2 GB because it also supports microSD card.
No doubt this small and sleek but powerful cell phone will surely storm the mobile world when it will be launched in the market.
