LG KP500 popularly known as LG Cookie is the latest offerings from LG. The new device has become popular in Europe and Indian market because this mobileset is the only device which has an affordable touchscreen that reacts to every touches of users. Even the mobile responds to human touches by generating mild vibration to the finger of the user to make him/her feel that the virtual button is pressed or the menu is clicked. Even the device has built in accelerometer that can sense the motion or the rotation of the mobile. So, the motion game is possible in the cell. You don’t need to press any button to throw dice but you can simulate this by shaking the mobile only.
The games are of great fun and applications like drawing pad is very fun to use. The screen size is very impressive having resolution 240 x 400 pixels TFT (approx 3 inch) and you will really enjoy watching videos or picture slideshows. It has virtual QWERTY keyboard with T9 to predict your text
during messaging. Though some users feel uncomfortable using T9 feature while typing but this can be turned off.
One thing LG KP500 is missing is the good quality camera that verybody can expect in a good mobile even all other LG cellphones are having good quality camera. The in built camera of LG Cookie is 3 Megapixel only and there is no autofocus or image stabilization option available. The mobile comes with only 48 MB memory but this can be extended upto 8GB using microSD card.
The cameraphone doesn’t support 3G or WiFi. So you won’t be able to use any hotspots to connect to and surf the internet. Though it has a very good web browser installed and also email client and document viewer. For connectivity the mobile supports USB, Bluetooth and quadband GSM. Also it supports the latest Microsoft Vista operating system and Java 2 games. The device comes with stereo FM receiver and a music player which can play any kind of latest format mucics like mp3, wma etc. It has been observed that the downloaded ringtones or MMS get loaded in the playlist of the media player. LG will fix this issue probably in the next version I guess.
Overall the mobile phone is very impressive when you compare with other touchscreen devices that are available in the market which cost much more than LG Cookie.

Very interesting post. LG Cookie is the best mobile in this price range and it is much better in comparison to its rivals. Am planning to buy it soon.
