At CES 2009 in Las Vegas Canon announced several new High Definition camcorders in the VIXIA series like VIXIA HF S10, HF S100, HF20, HF200, and HV40. This march, Canon has launched the new VIXIA HF S10 camcorder which has already stormed the camcorder market with its superior performance and advanced image processing capability.The VIXIA HF S10 is a dual flash memory based camcorder that has 32 GB internal memory and a removable SDHC card to store movies, videos, pictures.
The camcorder is powerpacked with 8.59 Megapixel camera and 10X optical zoom lens and a 2.7 inch Multi-angle widescreen LCD display. The device can capture high definition videos having resolution of 1920 x 1080, it also features Canon’s DIGIC DV III image processor for superior image optimization and processing as well as Face detection technology and SuperRange Optical Image Stabilization. Video Snapshot and Dual Shot Modes are other features of this camcorder which enable the user to capture still photos during video shoot as well. This camcorder has 8 Megapixel built in digital camera to capture still photos.
