Facebook has finally hired Greg Badros as Director of engineering this month. He was also working as a senior Director of Engineering in Google and was part of the Adsense Engineering team which was started by Google at 2004. Not only Adsense, he led Google Calendar, Google Reader and Gmail service.

We believe Facebook has hired him because of his past experience with Adsense. They might want to improve the in built ad display service and also want to improve their revenue through this service. Badros will report to Mike Schroepfer now.


Before google Badros also had worked with Go2Net as Chief Technical Architect. He did his schooling from University of Washington (Seattle) and Duke university. Badros is alhave a blog but it is updated infrequently by him. Check his blog at http://badros.blogspot.com/
