Microsoft and Yahoo! – finally agrees to pair up
After years of negotiations and lots of rumors, Microsoft finally acquires the deal in a shot by signing the long awaited pairing agreement with Yahoo!. The 10 year deal was announced on 29 July 2009, Wednesday, which reads that from now onwards the Yahoo! Search would be powered by Microsoft in exchange for 88 percent of the revenue that would be generated by Microsoft’s Bing.
